SKF was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1907 by the inventor of the double row self-aligning ball bearing. Today, the company is a global leader in bearings and units, seals, mechatronics, services and lubrication systems. SKF demonstrates environmental care by adopting a world leading sustainable design and construction standard for its new buildings, with 10 sites being LEED certified in the past. The Tortuguitas plant in Argentina opened in 1972 and has a total surface area of 17.000 m2. To combine perfect comfort with a substantial energy efficiency improvement, they have installed two DeLclima NECS-Q 1816, INTEGRA units and nine DeLclima WIZARD Air Handling Units as well as two DeLclima AX 26 Close Control Units to satisfy the cooling request of the local server room.
